Tweed has a long history on country estates and college campuses, and this Rancher borrows the look in an oatmeal tone. The body is midweight wool felt. Its crown takes a teardrop western shape at 4 1/8 in, the brim measures 3 1/2 in, and no band has been added. A velcro sweatband adjusts the fit. Sizes SM through LG. It looks right with a corduroy jacket, a knit tie or a chunky cardigan.

Walt's tip: Brush tweed-look felt gently in one direction with a soft brush to lift dust out of the pattern.
