Saddle is the mid brown of an old riding saddle, and it gets along with denim, olive and tweed. This Summit combines lightweight wool felt and top grain leather in a safari-shaped crown, 3 3/4 in tall, over a 2 3/4 in brim. A buckled leather band sets it off. An adjustable drawstring sweatband helps with fit, and it comes in SM, MD, LG and XL. Assembled in the USA. A fine weekend hat for a fall drive in the country.

Walt's tip: If you're between two sizes, take the bigger one and pull the drawstring snug.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run SM to XL. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
What do you wear with the Summit?
A coat, a good knit or a jacket in cooler months. Wear it level or tipped slightly forward with the pinch in front, and handle it by the brim so the crown doesn't crack.
Does it pack flat?

How do you clean the Summit?
