Dirty blue is a muted, weathered shade, the kind of blue that looks like it has already seen a few seasons. On the Rancher it colors midweight wool, pressed into a teardrop crown with western lines at 4 1/8 in tall, sitting over a brim that extends 3 1/2 in. It ships with no band. You can snug the fit with the velcro sweatband, and it's sized SM, MD and LG. Navy, gray and cream all sit comfortably next to it.

Walt's tip: A muted color like this pairs well with a dark leather band, if you decide to add one.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run SM to LG. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
What do you wear with the Rancher?
