Eggshell is the soft off-white that looks right with a linen shirt and sandals, and this sun hat keeps it practical. Polyester and lightweight mesh make up the body, the liner is soakable, and the crown is an outback shape at 3 3/4 in with a 2 3/4 in brim. Its listing includes a sun protection rating of 50, water resistance and an adjustable chin cord. A tassel hanging from a braided faux leather band adds a little warmth to the pale color. Removable Velcro sweatband, sizes SM to 3X, assembled in the USA.

Which size of the Soaker should I get?
Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. 3X fits heads 25 to 25 5/8 in (64 to 65 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, American Hat Makers says to size up and use the foam insert it includes.
Is the Soaker UPF rated?
Yes. The store lists a UPF 50 rating. The Skin Cancer Foundation says UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun's rays. Sunscreen still goes on the bits the brim misses.
Can you travel with the Soaker?
