Navy is the dark color that isn't black, and that makes it a sneaky-good pick for a felt cattleman. It works with a white shirt, khakis, a tan jacket or straight-up denim on denim. Underneath: Australian wool felt of midweight, a crown 4 1/2 in tall, 4 in of brim, and a silver buckle pinning the felt band. SM through XL, adjustable velcro sweatband. Imported. Felt season is its season.

Cody's tip: Navy hat, brown boots. Navy hat, black boots also works, but only if your belt matches the boots.

Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart.
