Black felt cowboy hats are the reason Westerns were fun to watch. The Deputy is wool felt in black with a gus-shaped crown that climbs to 5 in, a tall, back-sloped look with real presence. Under it sits a curled cattleman brim at 4 in. The sweatband adjusts with Velcro, and it's imported. Felt is a cooler-weather and evening hat, so picture a fall rodeo, a night out two-stepping or a winter stock show. Wear it with a white shirt and you'll get the good kind of stares.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run SM to XL. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
Can you wear the Deputy in summer?
