Steel is a cool mid-gray, a good middle ground if black feels too dark for summer and ivory too bright. Mesh panels join polyester and fabric in this Cabana, cut as a sun hat with a crown of 3 3/4 in and a 2 3/4 in brim. AHM says it carries a 50 rating for sun and holds up to water. A badge sits on the fabric trim. The velcro sizer adjusts, and steel comes in SM through XX.

Margo's tip: Throw it in a tote for the drive home rather than leaving it on a sunny seat.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run SM to XX. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
Is the Cabana UPF rated?
