Leather hats usually make you pick between tough and comfortable in the heat. The Sierra cheats a little: mid-weight cowhide for the brim and structure, nylon mesh in the crown so air can move. This one comes in black and espresso, a dark combo that looks good with a black tee and worn jeans. The outback-style crown is 4 in, the brim a tidy 3 in. Velcro sweatband inside, assembled in the USA, and right now it's in MD.
