Tan is the working color for an outback, and the Florence makes sense for days in the field. It is cotton and vented canvas fabric with an outback crown of 4 1/4 in and a brim of 3 1/4 in. The faux leather band is embossed with a pattern and set with a side concho. There's an adjustable chin cord and an elastic sweatband. AHM finishes it with a protective sealant meant to help it hold its shape. It is imported. Wear it fishing, hunting for shed antlers or working cattle.

Margo's tip: Tan hides dirt well, but the vents still collect dust. Tap the hat out and brush it after a field day.

MD fits heads 22 to 22 3/4 in (56 to 57 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. 3X fits heads 25 to 25 5/8 in (64 to 65 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart.
