The Florence looks like straw from a distance, but it is actually a vented canvas and cotton material, shaped into an outback. This cream version has a 4 1/4 in crown and a 3 1/4 in brim, with an embossed faux leather band and a concho on the side. An adjustable chin cord helps when the wind kicks up, and an elastic sweatband handles fit. AHM adds a protective sealant meant to help it hold its shape, and they note it adds some weight. It is imported.
