Toyo is a smooth, paper-based straw, and in sand it looks clean with linen and khaki. The Boxcar has a safari shape with a 4 in crown and a smaller brim of 2 3/8 in, so think of it as a style hat with a bit of shade rather than full coverage. Around the crown sits a faux leather band, debossed, with a concho. The AHM velcro sweatband adjusts the fit. Sizes SM through XL. Imported.

Margo's tip: With a brim this short, wear sunscreen on your ears and neck. The hat only covers so much.
