The Johvan's straw is listed with a tight weave, which gives it a neat, even surface. It is lightweight soft toyo straw in natural, shaped as an outback with a 4 in crown and a 3 1/2 in brim. Two thin suede strips form the band, and an AHM Velcro sweatband adjusts the fit. It is imported. It's a sensible pick for golf, yard work or a summer road trip.

Margo's tip: Rest it crown down on the back seat during a road trip. A brim that rides upside down on a dash will warp.
