Real hair-on calfskin means each Pinto is a little different, since the pattern and placement vary from hat to hat. The base is black genuine leather in an outback shape, with a 4 in crown and a 3 in brim, and the band is triple-braided with a tassel. AHM's velcro sweatband sits inside. It's assembled in the USA in SM, MD and LG. Leather handles wind and rough days, though it runs warm when the sun is high.

Cody's tip: Smooth the calf hair gently in the direction it lies, never against it. That calf hair's been through enough.
