The tan Florence is the earthy option for women who spend a lot of time outside. It is vented canvas and cotton fabric shaped into an outback, with a 3 1/4 in brim and a 4 1/4 in crown. An embossed faux leather band and a side concho trim the crown, and you get an adjustable chin cord plus an elastic sweatband. AHM finishes it with a protective sealant to help it keep its form. It is imported. Pair it with a chambray shirt and riding boots for a horse show or garden work.

Margo's tip: Store it crown down on a shelf after a long day. The sealant helps, but a brim still bends if it carries the hat's weight.
