Some sun hats droop by afternoon. This one is sealed to stay rigid, with the trade-off that the sealant adds a little weight. The Barcelona comes in natural vented canvas, outback shape, with a 4 in crown and a 3 1/2 in brim for shade on the face. Trim is embossed faux leather with a brass button at the side, and an adjustable chin cord handles wind. Sizes MD through 3X are listed, with an elastic sweatband. Imported.

Margo's tip: Rest it crown-down between wears. A firm brim keeps its shape best when nothing leans on it.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run MD to 3X. MD fits heads 22 to 22 3/4 in (56 to 57 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
