Not every man wants a light hat, even in July. Midnight is the darkest leather in this lineup, a deep shade worked together with polyester mesh. Expect the usual Breeze numbers: a 3 3/4 in outback crown, a 2 3/4 in brim, and a 50 rating for sun protection by AHM's count, with resistance to water. Braided trim with a side tassel circles the crown, and the chin cord adjusts. You can get it SM through 3X, assembled in the USA.

Margo's tip: Dark colors soak up sun. On the hottest afternoons, pick shade whenever you can find it.

Which size of the Breeze should I get?
Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. 3X fits heads 25 to 25 5/8 in (64 to 65 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, American Hat Makers says to size up and use the foam insert it includes.
Is the Breeze UPF rated?
Yes. The store lists a UPF 50 rating. The Skin Cancer Foundation says UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun's rays. Sunscreen still goes on the bits the brim misses.
Can you travel with the Breeze?

How do you care for a leather hat like the Breeze?
