Gray is the quieter Breeze, and it pairs easily with navy, white and black athletic wear. It mixes bomber gray cowhide with polyester mesh, cut in the outback shape with a 3 3/4 in crown and a 2 3/4 in brim. Per AHM, it carries a 50 sun protection rating and resists water. There's a braided faux leather band with a side tassel and an adjustable chin cord. Available in SM, MD, LG and XX, with an AHM velcro sweatband.

Margo's tip: Wipe the leather with a damp cloth after a sweaty day and let it dry crown-down at room temperature.

Which size of the Breeze should I get?

Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. XX fits heads 24 3/8 to 24 7/8 in (62 to 63 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, American Hat Makers says to size up and use the foam insert it includes.

Is the Breeze UPF rated?
