Tan is the neutral that goes with a swimsuit cover-up as easily as hiking boots. This Zanzibar is woven from paper Panama, with a safari crown standing 4 1/2 in and a brim of 3 1/2 in. A simple cord band, a loop-knot closure and a decorative concho finish it. Inside, the Velcro sweatband adjusts. It's sized S/M or L/XL and imported. Beach walks, island day trips and lazy afternoons on a porch all suit it.

Margo's tip: Carry it by the crown, never the brim edge, and keep it out of the bottom of the beach bag.
