Olive is the color of reeds and riverbanks, which is why it shows up on fishing and birding gear. The Zanzibar in olive is paper Panama with a 4 1/2 in safari crown and a 3 1/2 in brim, enough to keep glare off your face while you watch the water. Its cord band ends in a loop knot and has a decorative concho. Adjustable Velcro sweatband inside. S/M or L/XL, imported.

Margo's tip: Don't leave it on the boat seat in the sun. Straw and hot surfaces are a bad match.

It comes in S/M and L/XL. S/M fits heads 22 1/8 to 22 3/4 in on American Hat Makers' chart. L/XL fits heads 22 7/8 to 23 5/8 in on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and use an insert.
