A cream safari hat with a white shirt and khaki trousers is the classic travel uniform, and it still works. This one is paper Panama woven into a safari crown at 4 1/2 in, with a 3 1/2 in brim. A plain cord band ties off in a loop knot and carries a small decorative concho. The Velcro sweatband adjusts. Choose S/M or L/XL. Imported. Bring it on vacation, to an outdoor wedding or a zoo trip with the grandkids.

Margo's tip: Put sunscreen on the tops of your ears. A 3 1/2 in brim helps, but ears stick out for a reason.
