Cream and black is a two-tone combination that reads crisp in the sun, and it looks right with a white linen shirt and tan chinos. Here it's woven in paper braid, a lightweight straw style, and shaped into a teardrop fedora with a 4 1/2 in crown. The brim is 2 3/4 in. Inside, an adjustable Velcro sweatband. Take it on a beach vacation, to a summer wedding or a ballgame in July. Imported.

Margo's tip: If paper braid gets wet, let it dry naturally on its crown. Paper and puddles are not old friends.
