Straw is the warm-weather material, and black straw is how you wear it to something that isn't a picnic. The Afternoon is soft, pliable straw blended with paper braid, shaped into a classic fedora with a 4 1/2 in crown and a 2 3/4 in brim. Around the base runs a 2 in band of black grosgrain, crossed at the side. The brim is on the short side, so it's more about looking sharp than throwing shade. Only MD is in stock at the moment.

Margo's tip: With a 2 3/4 in brim, your neck is on its own. Bring sunscreen for long afternoons outside.
