The rancher fedora is for when a full cowgirl hat feels like too much but a regular fedora feels like too little. This women's Granger is black faux suede with a 4 1/2 in rancher crown and a 3 1/2 in brim. The leather band has corded stitching and a concho right in the middle. Elastic sweatband, imported, S/M or L/XL. Outfit formula: hat, black turtleneck, wide-leg trousers, pointed boots. Wear it to dinner, a gallery night or a city honky-tonk.

Jessica's tip: Wear it a little back on your head for a softer look, or level for a sharper one. Never tipped down over your eyes.
