If you want real shade at a summer show, start with the brim. The women's Deuce gives you 4 1/2 in of it in tan Bangora straw, under a Cisco crown that also stands 4 1/2 in. The faux leather band is embroidered and set with conchos, which adds detail without much fuss. Inside is a moisture wicking sweatband, and the hat is imported. Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. XL fits heads 23 5/8 to 24 1/4 in (60 to 61 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, American Hat Makers says to size up and use the foam insert it includes.
