Navy sits between the easy natural and the dressy black, which is a handy place for a hat to be. The Detroit in navy is 100% paperbraid, shaped as a pork pie with a 4 in crown and a 1 1/2 in brim. The striped ribbon band has a crosspiece, and inside is a sewn-in twill fabric sweatband. It is imported. Wear it with a white button-down and khaki shorts for a harbor walk or a lobster roll lunch.
