Seagrass has an open, natural texture that suits hot weather, and this Coastal puts it into a Western curl with a pinch front. The brim is 3 1/2 in, enough to shade the face while still clearing a truck roof, and the crown stands 4 1/2 in. A braided leather band with a finish knot gives it some trail credibility. The sweatband is elastic, and it's imported. It comes in two sizes, S/M and L/XL. Take it to summer festivals, a ranch weekend or the lake.
