If you want a hat that reads cool without trying, a black pork pie is it. This women's Chi-Town is crushable wool felt with a short 2 in brim and a flat-topped 3 1/2 in crown, so it sits close and never swallows your face. The grosgrain band ends in a little bow, and a Velcro sweatband lets you adjust the fit. It's tagged packable and it's imported. Outfit formula: hat, oversized blazer, straight jeans, ankle boots.
