Y'all, a pork pie is the one hat that looks better when you're not trying. This Chi-Town is black crushable wool felt with a flat-topped pork pie crown at 3 1/2 in and a short 2 in brim. A grosgrain ribbon band finishes with a bow, and a Velcro sweatband dials in the fit. Because it's crushable and listed as packable, it can ride in a bag without drama. It's imported. Felt makes it a cool-weather and evening hat, so think late shows, dinner downtown and a dark jacket.

Cody's tip: Wear a pork pie level, not tipped way back. Tilted too far, it stops saying jazz and starts saying lost tourist.
