For a convincing pirate, you need the right hat, and the hat needs three corners. This Blackbeard is black midweight cowhide with a suede look. A leather strap ties up the sides of the 4 3/4 in brim to form the tricorne, and the crown stands 4 in. It has no band, so it looks plain and period. An AHM velcro sweatband helps fit it over pinned hair. Available in MD, LG and XL and assembled in the USA.
