Toast is a golden light brown, a little warmer than plain natural straw, and it looks good with white linen and gold jewelry. This sun hat has a round 4 in crown and a 4 in brim, enough to shade your face and the back of your neck in the afternoon. It's mostly paper braid with some polyester, banded with wax leather cord and a single wood bead. There's an adjustable chin cord and a drawstring sweatband. Size MD, imported.

Margo's tip: If the brim gets damp, let it dry flat on its crown. Never hang a wet straw hat by its brim.
