Wine is a deep red-purple, and on leather it looks rich without going loud. This Rocky is midweight cowhide shaped as a pinch-front fedora with a 3 3/4 in crown and a 1 1/2 in brim. A leather overlay, sewn in and set with a concho, wraps the crown and laces up behind. It has AHM's velcro sweatband, is assembled in the USA, and comes in SM through XL. Pair it with black, charcoal or denim.

Walt's tip: A short-brim fedora looks best worn level or tipped slightly forward. Tipped back, it looks like it's trying to leave.
