A deep chocolate felt looks rich next to camel, cream and rust, and it hides the dust from a dirt road. This women's Pathfinder is wool felt with a 4 in outback crown and a 3 in brim. Its faux leather band finishes in tails, and the velcro sweatband adjusts. Sizes run SM through XL. It's a good companion for apple orchards, horseback trail rides and football tailgates.

Margo's tip: Size up if you're between sizes. A felt hat that's too tight by the second quarter gets taken off and forgotten.
