Top hats had their heyday in the nineteenth century, and they've never quite left the costume trunk since. The Marlow does the shape in black midweight cowhide leather, with a 4 in top hat crown and a 2 in brim. It's unbanded, so you can wear it plain or add a band of your choosing later. Inside is AHM's velcro sweatband, and it's assembled in the USA. Sizes run from SM up past XX. Leather handles wind and rough use, though it runs warm in summer heat.

Walt's tip: Rest a top hat on its crown on a shelf, never on its brim. A narrow brim deserves the courtesy.
