Gray is the color that never argues with your coat. The Jace in gray is wool felt in the ivy cap shape, with a flat crown and a 2 in bill, and it adjusts with an inner drawstring sweatband. It is imported. Wear it with a navy overcoat on a city commute, or with a gray sweater and jeans on a chilly Saturday.

Walt's tip: Ivy caps come off indoors at the table, same as any other hat. Old rule, still a good one.

Measure your head where the hat sits and match it to the chart. MD fits heads 22 to 22 3/4 in (56 to 57 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. XL fits heads 23 5/8 to 24 1/4 in (60 to 61 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, American Hat Makers says to size up and use the foam insert it includes.
Is the Jace enough for sun?
Not on its own. A cap or peak shades your eyes but leaves your ears and neck exposed, as MD Anderson points out. Add sunscreen, or pick a brimmed hat for long days outside.
How do you care for a felt hat like this?
A soft brush after dusty days, a rest on its crown, and no hot cars. If it gets rained on, shake it off, turn the sweatband down and let it air-dry at room temperature.
