Red straw is a cheerful choice and easy to find on a crowded beach. The Horseshoe Bay is 100% toyo fine straw in red, shaped with a teardrop crown at 4 in and a 3 1/2 in brim. A band of two braided cords finishes it, and an AHM Velcro sweatband adjusts the fit. It is imported in S/M. Wear it with a white linen shirt at a beach bar or a Fourth of July cookout.

Margo's tip: Keep it out of a hot car and off a sunny dash between beach days. Heat is hard on straw.
