Tobacco is that golden, slightly vintage brown that looks like you thrifted it from somewhere very cool. In the women's Dutch, it comes as faux suede shaped into a 4 1/2 in cattleman crown with a 4 in brim, plus a tobacco felt band with a buckle. Elastic sweatband, imported. Outfit formula: hat, rust prairie dress, denim jacket, cognac boots. It's giving retro road trip, and that's a compliment.

Jessica's tip: Pair warm browns with gold or turquoise jewelry. Cool silver can make tobacco look flat.
