A black felt fedora is the standard against which most dress hats get measured. The Broadway is lightweight wool felt with a teardrop crown at 4 in and a 2 3/4 in brim, trimmed with a grosgrain ribbon and a short feather dotted in red. That bit of red is the only color on the hat, and it does a lot of work. Felt makes it a fall and winter hat, best with an overcoat or a dark suit. The AHM velcro sweatband adjusts. Imported.

Walt's tip: Take it off at the table and in the theater seat. A good fedora looks better resting on your knee anyway.
