This is the cowgirl hat for people who like their western with a little beach. The Avalon is crocheted raffia braid in a color the store calls Seal, with a western crown at 4 1/2 in and a 3 1/4 in brim you can shape yourself. A rawhide wrap makes the band, and an adjustable rawhide chin cord keeps it on when the breeze shows up. Formula: this hat, a crochet top, a flowy skirt and brown boots.
