Tan is the color straw wants to be, and this fedora keeps it simple. A paper and polyester blend, 75 to 25, makes up the body, pinched into a teardrop crown that rises 4 1/4 in. The brim is a short 2 1/4 in, easy in a crowd or a car. Inside, a drawstring ribbon lets you adjust the fit. Wear it with olive shorts, a chambray shirt or anything khaki. Imported.

Margo's tip: Pull the drawstring just snug enough that a breeze can't lift it. Tighter than that and you'll know by lunch.
