Brown felt is the color that goes with tweed, denim and a canvas jacket, and that alone makes it a sensible first fedora. The Adventure is lightweight wool felt in a safari shape, with a 4 1/8 in crown and a 2 1/2 in brim that keeps things modest. A 1 1/4 in grosgrain ribbon circles the crown, and the sweatband is sewn in. Felt is the cooler-weather choice, so think of it for autumn walks and evenings out. Imported.
