Brown is the warm neutral, and on a bare felt fedora it goes with camel, cream, rust and every flannel you own. The women's Rancher in brown is wool felt, with a crown that rises 4 1/8 in in a teardrop western shape and a brim measuring 3 1/2 in. No trim, so it stays clean. Velcro inside lets you tighten the fit, and it comes in SM, MD, LG and XL.

Jessica's tip: Lowkey styling trick: tie a silk scarf around the crown as a band, and swap it to match your outfit.

How should it fit?
Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run SM to XL. SM fits heads 21 to 21 7/8 in (54 to 55 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
