A plain black top hat is the most adaptable hat in the costume trunk, and this Marlow is cowhide leather rather than felt. The crown rises 4 in over a 2 in brim, with no band, so you can leave it sleek or add a ribbon, feather or pin. It has AHM's velcro sweatband and is assembled in the USA. The size range is wide, SM up past XX. It goes to goth night as easily as it goes into a ringmaster costume.

Walt's tip: A magnetic hat pin is the easy way to dress up an unbanded hat without punching holes in the leather.
