If you have ever put together a steampunk outfit, you know the hat comes first and the goggles second. The women's El Dorado in brown is 100% cowhide with a 4 1/2 in top hat crown and a 2 in brim, with no band on it at all. That leaves room for goggles, feathers or pins. An AHM Velcro sweatband adjusts the fit, and it is assembled in the USA.

Walt's tip: Set goggles on the brim, not cinched around the crown, so the leather doesn't get creased.
