A flat cap sits closer to the head than a newsboy, and this one is about as low-profile as caps get, with a 2 1/2 in crown and a 1 1/2 in brim. The Bookie is lightweight cowhide in black, cut from four panels with a stitched peak and no band. A sewn-in sweatband finishes the inside. Black leather goes with a peacoat or a waxed jacket, and it handles wind better than wool. MD, LG and XL are listed. Imported.
