Our take · Researched, not tested

A small magnetic pin named for the Texas capital.

By Walt Mercer, felt, fit and care desk Pen name, fact-checked by our team

The listing for the Austin pin keeps things brief: a small pin held on by a backing magnet, made to attach to clothing or a hat, and imported. The photo on the page shows the design better than any words here could. Because it's magnetic, you can try it in a few places on the band before you settle on one.

Walt's tip: Try it on the left side of the band first. That's where pins and feathers have traditionally sat.
