Our take · Researched, not tested

Silver angel wings for a hat band, scarf or blazer.

Painted portrait of Walt Mercer
By Walt Mercer, felt, fit and care desk Pen name, fact-checked by our team

A pair of silver wings on a magnetic backing. It holds to hats, scarves and blazers without piercing them, which matters on a good felt or a silk scarf you'd rather not poke. Silver reads cleanly on black, navy and gray, and it sits well beside a plain ribbon band.

Walt's tip: On a thin silk scarf, place it where the fabric doubles over so the magnet has something to grip.
