A stovepipe is the top hat at full height, and on a woman it reads theatrical in the best way. This one is black cowhide with no band, a 6 1/2 in crown and a 2 in brim. The leather can be shaped if you want a slight lean or taper. Inside is a Velcro sweatband. It's assembled in the USA, sizes MD through XX. Pair it with a long coat and lace-up boots for a steampunk ball or a winter costume party.

Walt's tip: Store it on its crown on a high shelf. A tall hat on its brim ends up leaning like the Tower of Pisa.
