The stovepipe is the tallest of the top hats, the one most people picture on Abraham Lincoln. This version is black cowhide leather with a 6 1/2 in crown and a 2 in brim. It's unbanded, and the leather can be shaped. A Velcro sweatband sits inside, and it's assembled in the USA in MD to XX. Leather runs warm and stands up to wind and rough handling, so it suits outdoor costume nights, steampunk gatherings and theater work.

Walt's tip: Mind the doorframes. A 6 1/2 in crown adds more height than you'll remember until the first lintel.
