A ball cap doesn't usually get the felt-and-leather treatment, which is what makes the Homestead interesting. The crown is camel wool felt in a sand tone, built as a structured, low profile six panel cap, and the visor is leather. The bill is 2 3/4 in and the crown 4 1/2 in. It closes with a leather strap and an antique copper buckle, and an internal message reads Ephesians 4:32, Redeemed. It comes in one size and is imported. Felt makes it a cooler-weather cap, good with a field jacket or a quarter-zip.

Walt's tip: Ball cap or not, this is still felt. Brush it with a soft brush and keep it off a hot dashboard.
