There is a certain calm that comes with a hat that won't blow away. The women's Ezra is 100% toyo straw in natural, shaped as a rancher with a 4 in crown and a 3 1/2 in brim. A double fine leather band wraps the crown, and an adjustable chin cord closes with a metal toggle. The drawstring sweatband handles fit. It is imported. Wear it on a ferry ride, at a polo match or during a windy beach walk.

Margo's tip: Snug the drawstring first, then use the chin cord only as backup. A hat that fits well needs less holding.

Level on your head, about a finger above your eyebrows, clearing the tops of your ears. Sizes in stock run MD to XL. MD fits heads 22 to 22 3/4 in (56 to 57 cm) on American Hat Makers' chart. Between sizes, size up and add an insert.
